Marram is the tough grass that holds the dunes in place. This is its smell on a warm afternoon: dry and green, with lemon peel and fennel seed at the start.
Hay and fig leaf in the heart, then a pale, woody base of driftwood, oakmoss and clean musk. Unisex, and very easy to wear.
