How to measure yourself
Use a soft tape measure over light clothing, keep it level and snug but not tight.
- Bust
- Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape level under your arms and across your shoulder blades.
- Underband
- Measure snugly around your ribcage, directly under your bust, keeping the tape level.
- Waist
- Measure around your natural waist, the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above your belly button.
- Hips
- Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.
- Inside leg
- Measure from the top of your inner thigh to the floor, without shoes. Easiest with a pair of trousers that fit you well.
- Foot length
- Stand on paper with your heel against a wall, mark the tip of your longest toe and measure from the wall to the mark.
- Ring size
- Wrap a strip of paper around the base of your finger, mark where it overlaps and measure the length in millimetres.
